Seongnam Chunma defenders had a quality game, no slip ups, good strong tackles, yada yada but in all fairness they were playing a team that were still in bed. 48 hours after an exhausting semi final against Sydney, poor little Melbourne were expected to keep their Asian Champions League hopes alive by at least taking a point against Seongnam Chunma.
Their finishing was poor at best, they made numerous mistakes and who can blame them? Two games in such a short space of time is madness.
To add to the occasion the pitch was in a bad shape. Yun Young-Sun grabs the ball in the midfield, beats Nick Ward, looses his footing in a sand pit and plummets head first into the dirt. Fairly funny yes but it's not great for the player. Every time something good looked about to happen the ball would bobble and go mental.
Meanwhile in other news: Liverpool managed to dent their ambitions of a top four finish with a 1-0 loss to the almighty Wigan.
is Yun Young-Sun actually the player's name or did you make it up?
ReplyDeleteliverpool were pathetic. and gerrard is in trouble because of that gesture.
Its the actual player. I'd like to tease liverpool but hey, most teams slip up at some stage.
ReplyDeletehahaha i thought it was some made up player like what jan said yesterday at lunch 2 wang wong tong or whatever he said.
ReplyDeleteliverpool have slipped too many times.
